FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What's the parking situation? 
FREE and plenty of it.

Does my ticket include beer samples too?
No it does not.  Your ticket includes wine, cider and spirits samples only.  Per NYS Law, you need a Brewfest ticket to be able to sample beer.  There will be diffferent glasses for Brewfest and Winefest ticket holders.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes - ALL persons must be at least 21 years of age to attend the event. Yes - Even if you are a designated driver. Sorry.

Can we buy wine at the festival?
You sure can.  You can purchase directly from the winery of your choice and we will have it ready for you when exiting the festival.  It is illegal to open a bottle of wine and consume during the festival.

Do the wineries and vendors accept debit/credit or cash?  
Everyone that sells at our events is equipped to accept debit and credit cards.  However sometimes there are network issues and these services can be limited.  Always a good idea to have some cash just in case.

Can I purchase the group discount tickets but have some people go to one session, and others go to another?
Yup - No problem. Tickets are good for any session

What items are prohibited at the event?
Outside alcohol
Bottles
Cans
Outside food/beverages
Metal water bottles (clear, plastic water bottles permitted)
Weapons (i.e. knives, pepper spray, stun-guns, concealed weapons, firearms, etc.)
Illegal drugs
Chemicals
Fireworks, smoke bombs, etc.
Backpacks (multi compartment/multi strap bag) suitcases, large beach bags, etc.
Skateboards, roller skates, ice skates, use of roller shoes, etc.
Unapproved pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, etc. (see “Marketing”)
Other items as determined by facility management
Event management reserves the right to handle each occurrence on a case by case basis. Depending on the item, the guest may either be asked to remove the item from the facility or dispose of the item, or may be ejected from the facility.
All bags, jackets, and guests are subject to search upon entering the event.
Items which have varying policies include: cameras, video/audio recording equipment, and signs/flags/banners/posters.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
It's a good idea, but if you have on your phone, we can scan it.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
